  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp cilantro

  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a glass baking pan with 1 tbsp of olive oil. (I use pyrex containers)
  3. Place salmon filet skin down in the pan and pour the other tbsp of olive oil on top.
  4. Sprinkle the dry seasonings on top, coating the salmon evenly.
  5. Pour lemon juice over the salmon.
  6. Place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.
  7. After 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, turn oven to broil on HIGH.
  8. Allow salmon to broil for 5 minutes or until the edges of the filet turn light brown and are slightly crispy.
  9. Remove from oven and serve.

SERVINGS 4

Tip: keep the skin on during cooking. It will act as a barrier between the fish and the pan. Just peel the skin off prior to eating. I promise this has always provided a delicious and juicy piece of salmon. To help ensure a crispy outside layer but while retaining all of the juices, end off by broiling your salmon for just a few minutes in the oven. With little effort, I guarantee that if you are a seafood lover, this recipe will become one of your favorites!
