Oven-Baked Salmon
Oven-baked salmon is one of the easiest seafood recipes around. Coming together quickly, this tender, oven-baked salmon is topped with delicious seasonings. Give yourself roughly 30 minutes to create this tasty recipe. INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb salmon filet
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp cilantro
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil

DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a glass baking pan with 1 tbsp of olive oil. (I use pyrex containers)
- Place salmon filet skin down in the pan and pour the other tbsp of olive oil on top.
- Sprinkle the dry seasonings on top, coating the salmon evenly.
- Pour lemon juice over the salmon.
- Place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, turn oven to broil on HIGH.
- Allow salmon to broil for 5 minutes or until the edges of the filet turn light brown and are slightly crispy.
- Remove from oven and serve.

Tip: keep the skin on during cooking. It will act as a barrier between the fish and the pan. Just peel the skin off prior to eating. I promise this has always provided a delicious and juicy piece of salmon. To help ensure a crispy outside layer but while retaining all of the juices, end off by broiling your salmon for just a few minutes in the oven.
