Taco Pizza
Whoever came up with the idea to combine two of my family’s favorites together is a genius! Taco Pizza?! Why didn’t we think of this sooner? Tacos are always in rotation on our dinner menu. This was a great way to put a little spin on our ordinary taco night. When I made this taco pizza for dinner, it was an instant hit with the family. This recipe was simple to throw together, taking about 20 minutes to complete. If any of you are pizza/taco lovers, I suggest you give this recipe a try.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 can of Pillsbury pizza crust
- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 cup cheese, grated
- 4 oz sour cream
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
INSTRUCTIONS
- Unroll the pizza crust and place onto a non-stick cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the crust cool.
- Blend together sour cream and softened cream cheese until creamy.
- Spread over the cooled pizza crust.
- Place in the refrigerator for 10-20 minutes to chill.
- While your pizza crust and spread are chilling, brown the ground beef/turkey in a skillet.
- Mix in the taco seasoning according to the package and add water.
- Let the ground beef/turkey simmer for 5 minutes.
- Bring your pizza crust out of the refrigerator and sprinkle ground beef/turkey in an even layer over the cream cheese spread.
- Sprinkle with lettuce and tomatoes.
- Add the grated cheese last.
- Cut into slices and it is ready to serve (refrigerate if you don’t plan on serving right away. However don’t wait to long so that the crust doesn’t become soggy).
