Double Chocolate Chip Halloween Cookies
With Halloween quickly approaching, what better way to get into the spirit than with Halloween inspired cookies! These cookies provide the right amount of chocolaty goodness with just a hint of peanut butter flavor. Allergic to nut products or just not a fan of peanut butter cookies? Just substitute the Reese’s with orange M & M’s for the same Halloween effect and a little extra chocolate deliciousness!

INGREDIENTS
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
2 cups flour
1 ½ cups sugar
½ brown sugar
1 ½ tsp baking soda
¾ cup cocoa powder
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 ½ tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup Reese’s pieces
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix butter and sugars together until creamy
Add the eggs and vanilla and continue to mix
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa and salt
Slowly pour flour mix into the sugar mix, stirring until fully mixed
Add chocolate chips and Reese’s and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Scoop dough onto a cookie sheet using a tablespoon 2 inches apart
Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are slightly crisp
